ICANN Launches Weekly Newsletter Service

1 November 2006

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has launched a weekly newsletter that users can subscribe to and have delivered to an email address of choice.

"This is a service for members of the community who would like to receive a concise summary of ICANN’s activities in the preceding week" said ICANN’s President and CEO Dr Paul Twomey.

In addition to a list of the postings that have appeared on ICANN’s website, the newsletter will contain information about major up-coming events, a summary of some of the activities in which ICANN has been engaged, key media articles and links to the ICANN By Laws, as well as the next ICANN meeting.

"We will also include a brief profile each week of staff, Board members and other members of the ICANN community" Dr Twomey said.

"We hope this will provide greater insight into the work and personalities of ICANN" he said.
